The range of your Halo of Spores feature increases to 20 feet. I like that your damage of Symbiotic Entity scales. The upper limit on the scaling looks high to me, but that might be.
Handles mods as a 'Package' file, in the same way to 'The Sims 2' and 'The Sims 3'. Many major mods such as BetterSpore, Platinum spore, ForgottenSpore, and Orbit Spore introduce massive changes to Spore. This page documents many of the popular Spore modifications. Davo's Vocal Bot Mouths Davo's Vocal Bot Mouths is a modification and a fan-made patch. (From ) Normally, when you try to befriend a creature using the Dr. Pepper Mouths, the game crashes because those parts do not have any social abilities. This mod fixes that by adding to the parts. (End of davoonline.com content) This patch adds sing level 1 to the bot mouths. If you are going to share a creature with a bot mouth, and if the creature has no social parts (other then the patched bot mouth itself), it is recommended that you add a token social part to your creature before shearing it. In addition to fixing the aforementioned crashes, this should also fix another issue: some adventures (including Maxis made ones) will assume that your captain has at least sing level one, without sing you may not be able to complete those adventures.
While this patch will prevent your creature from crashing your copy of Spore, it will not prevent your creature from crashing other player's (un-patched) copies of Spore, the only way to prevent that is to add a social part to your creature. Dark Injection A mod created by a user named 'Davo' that add parts from into the creature creator, and aims to remove restrictions on editors. Creatures with the Darkspore parts cannot be shared, but they can be placed in adventures and viewed by others, though they will not appear in the Sporepedia.
However, creatures with the Darkspore parts can be seen in-game when players are playing in any stage. A new version of the mod by the name of 'Dark Injection V9.R' is currently being developed by Spore Modder 'Rob55Rod', who seemingly completely took over in development of the mod.
In the current version, players also can use all outfitter, captain, and even Grox parts. In addition to this, there are even silicon-like limbs that do not appear in game, making the creation of floating creatures much easier.
The mod also allows creatures to be edited in space stage, and removes the complexity limit allowing for infinitely complex creatures. If the files are not added properly, all Darkspore parts will have their textures corrupted as well as all parts being completely devoid of animations. The latest version of Dark Injection includes these features:. Plasma, Bio, Quantum, Cyber, and Necro-based limbs. Heads, weapons, and body parts from the ingame characters, and ones that aren't used ingame at all.
Armor parts. Crogenitor masks.
Invisible limbs. Invisible feet and graspers. Special abilities such as 'Dual Blade Spin' and 'Plasma Blast'. Mouths that makes sound. Parts unlockable in Creature Stage.
Parts from all stages. Parts do not use DNA points, nor do they take up complexity in the creature or cell creator. In the building editor, roofs and main parts can be rotated in any direction if the player presses TAB. Special effects taken throughout the Spore creators (including effects from Captain parts, building parts, Adventure special effects, and vehicle effects.). 3D cell editor.
Additional part handles to some creature parts. Additional paint options. Multiple additional charge abilities that can damage and stun.
Grox parts. Genetic modifier, which allows the creatures themselves to be edited in the tribal, civilization, and space stages.
Additional parts found on cells, but normally cannot be acquired. Creatures have unlimited height.
Forgotten Spore Cell Stage. More DNA for Eating.
Quicker Cell Stage. Better AI. Cell Stage Spine Cell Stage Ideas for Later Versions. Delete this Entire Stage and Create the impossible Water Stage The Goal for this stage is to add Sea creatures and make this more like the water stage. Cell stage is the only stage that does not connect with the other stages and seems like its a side mini game.
Aquatic Stage The only known development of the or editor is being done by the Forgotten Spore team. The Editor seems more loose, has more space and feels much better. To access the editor you can download the Mod and go to the normal creature editor. The Mod features the Creature Creator and the Early Creator mixed along with cell parts and a Brand New GUI.

By Aaron Kase on May 14, 2015 Could an insecticide made from mushrooms compete with commercial pesticides applied to crops the world over? Fungus expert Paul Stamets thinks so, with a product he calls SMART pesticides.
They are made from natural fungi, which kill insects and protect crops without creating toxic residue and runoff. If adopted, the mushroom pesticides would be a breath of fresh air in our increasingly toxic environment. Pesticides can be necessary for large-scale food production, but they also have harmful effects on the natural world as well as on human health. Many of the chemicals used in commercial pesticides, like ammonia, arsenic, benzene, chlorine, dioxins, formaldehyde and are dangerous to people even in small doses, and they after consumption of conventionally-grown food. Widespread pesticide use is also one possible culprit for the massive decline in bee populations over the last decade, as well as a persistent cause of ground and fresh water pollution.
Paul Stamets Via: Anaka Menehune Stamets, the groundbreaking mycologist famous for propagating a message on, first developed his innovative pesticide when he observed that harmful insects like carpenter ants and termites would avoid fungus spores. He then developed a modified form of fungus that didn’t produce spores, which the insects devour and share with their comrades before being killed by its entomopathogenic, or insect-killing properties. The product is effective on 200,000 different insect species, and it’s self-perpetuating as well — after the fungus kills the ant, termite or other pest, it sprouts a mushroom from its body and distributes spores that warn other insects to stay away from the area. Stamets first patented his all-natural insecticide in 2001, noting that: “The matrix of preconidial fungi can optionally be dried, freeze-dried, cooled and/or pelletized and packaged and reactivated for use as an effective insect attractant and/or biopesticide.” He refiled in 2003, and was finally. The mycologist claims that pesticide industry executives told him that his invention was the “most disruptive technology that they have ever witnessed.” Unfortunately, it still hasn’t gained much attention in the media or commercial agriculture realm.
It’s not hard to see why. The natural pesticide is easy and inexpensive to produce, which means that there isn’t a lot of profit in it, while industry giants like Monsanto currently make mega-bucks from toxic pest-control strategies.
Executives are not likely to give up their grip on all that money without a struggle. And that means that we are the ones who bear the consequences. California reported 7,600 pesticide poisoning cases between 2002 and 2008,.
A 1993 report determined that “depending on dose, some pesticides can cause a range of adverse effects on human health, including cancer, acute and chronic injury to the nervous system, lung damage, reproductive dysfunction, and possibly dysfunction of the endocrine and immune systems.” It’s a familiar story. Big companies profit, and human beings pay the price.
A shift to more natural and organic pest-control strategies would benefit humans, animals and plants alike, and miraculous mushroom pesticides are a good place to start. No, but it’s an example. Many products are produced that don’t have peanuts in them. People with peanut allergies can still have an allergic reaction simply because the product was produced in the same factory as peanut-based products. It’s about labeling. If the produce used mushroom-based pesticides, you label it as such.
I don’t believe that ALL produce growing on this planet, and especially in any capitalist country, would go to a mushroom-based pesticide. In the U.S., that would be highly unlikely since that would essentially eliminate competition which is illegal here.
So, those allergic to mushrooms can continue to use produce that use the old chemical-based pesticides or organic produce that doesn’t use pesticides at all. I’m just saying that we shouldn’t eliminate a healthier alternative for the majority just because the minority has an issue with it. Label it and move on!
